USP Co-Sponsors West Virginia Municipal League Conference
Utililty Service Partners (USP) is pleased to have been a participating exhibitor and co-sponsor of the 40th Annual West Virginia Municipal League Conference on August 4th-7th, 2009. The conference was held at the Marriot Hotel in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
The theme of this year's conference was "Cities: The Safe Bet in Any Economy". The four-day program highlighted the effects of the economic outlook on cities, with emphasis on the relationship between citizens and their community leaders, and presented new revenue enhancement ideas for municipalities.
USP's participation in the event culminated in acknowledgement from Lisa Dooley, Executive Director of the WVML, at a conference luncheon. “We appreciate Lisa Dooley’s recognition of Utility Service Partners programs," said Brad Carmichael, Vice President of Business Development at USP. "Co-sponsoring this event allowed us to connect with several key, local city officials to discuss their needs and how we can partner together to help them achieve their goals.”
A 26" Energy-Star compliant Vizio flat-screen TV was raffled off as a fun way to introduce USP programs to conference visitors. The lucky winner was Cris Meadows of Hinton, West Virginia.
