Philip Riley, CEO
Phil Riley honed his managerial and entrepreneurial skills during a successful career with Consolidated Natural Gas, where he quickly progressed through the corporate structure. Over a 25-year span, he earned a reputation of friendly professionalism built on integrity and expertise. Early in his CNG tenure, Phil created strategies for the company's interstate pipeline and tactical plans for unbundling merchant and storage services.
In 1997, he helped guide the successful startup of CNG Energy Services, producing a first-year profit. As vice president of Integrated Energy Management at CNG Energy Services, he developed a profitable portfolio of multi-year wholesale gas and electric commodity products. After a promotion to senior vice president and general manager at CNG Retail, he directed a marketing team that promoted unregulated energy commodities and the initial utility service line warranty. Following CNG's merger with Dominion in 2000, he assumed the title of senior vice president and general manager of Dominion Retail. As CEO of Utility Service Partners, Phil directs the company's ongoing growth and partnership building programs with utility companies throughout the United States.
